How to keep your pool in good condition

The following steps are recommended for the technical maintenance of the pool:

A. Check the good condition and functioning of the pool equipment: filter, pump, skimmer, motor, valves…

  • pump: recirculates water by means of an electric motor that turns a turbine.
  • filter: this is the main mechanism for cleaning water.
  • skimmer: They are suction nozzles that are installed on the walls of the pool at a level close to the surface and that allow the water filtration process to be carried out by absorbing dirt from the surface.
  • valves: is the brain of the filtration system of any pool. They are available with manual and automatic action.

B. When emptying the pool, it is advisable to clean the walls and floor of the pool.

Once the technical maintenance has been carried out, the following tasks will be carried out:

  • Balance: Control and measure the pH and chlorine levels of the pool at least once a week.
  • Chlorination: It is what keeps the pool water free of bacteria while protecting it from the sun.
  • Superchlorinar: In cases where chlorine effects leave the eyes reddened, it is necessary to chlorinate water further to counteract the effects of chlorine in action.
